Travel guide of East RandolphWe were out for a regular jaunt through the local forest in a large maple grove which is mostly reforested farmland. This old Studebaker had been intact the last time we had been there. We have taken many pictures here, mostly because my father who is now 91 once owned the same model. This time the car had been crushed by an old maple that had come down. As you can see it was a large tree, about 3’ diameter where it met the auto. It was late September, and overcast day and the air and colors were magical.

Went out for a evening boat ride and ended up staying till sunset. The sky was initially very cloudy, but eventually let some light through for a great sunset.

We drove through rain the entire day to get to the range that we’d hike the day after and were delighted to see the weather give us a break and allow us to get a few dramatic photos of the adirondacks

The first time I’ve ever been on a mountain - the weather was so unpredictable. Intense sun and heat at the base of the mountain. Enveloped in a cloud at the top of the mountain, and complete downpour between the two. I’m very glad there was a defined auto road to travel, to make the journey easier.

I was staying on lake Wentworth with my partner watching the sun set from the other side of the lake. We decided to get a different view an paddled a canoe to the opposite corner to see what we could find. As the sun set we waded out into the lake for a majestic evening swim.
